Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which Chatham County office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior Court handles Superior Court cases, real estate, divorce, notary, and passport intake from the Eugene H. Gadsden Courthouse. The State Court Clerk handles misdemeanors and traffic from Gadsden Suite 127. Magistrate and Probate sit in the Frank S. Coleman Courthouse. Recorder's Court of Chatham County handles Savannah traffic and ordinance citations. Add the Georgia Department of Driver Services, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Corrections, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

Only the issuing Chatham County court, the Georgia state agency, or the originating office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
